Aqua Shuttle
South Sydney Community Transport makes two runs to the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre every Tuesday for active senior residents from:
v Redfern / Waterloo / Alexandria / Glebe
v Surry Hills / Woolloomooloo / Millers Point
Entry to the Pool costs $2 with a City of Sydney Aquatic Centre Concession Card, which can be obtained for FREE from the Redfern Neighbourhood Centre at 158 Redfern St Redfern when you present your pension card.
Return bus trips cost $4. Before your first trip, we require that you and your doctor fill out a medical form and return it to us at the office or to the driver on your first trip. The form verifies that you are fit and able to go swimming:

Please note that this service is available to active seniors capable of maneuvering around the pool with confidence and without assistance. SSCT drivers drop off and pick up only- there is no poolside assistance provided!
