Individual Medical Transport

Availability
Individual health-related transport is available to the frail aged, younger people with a disability and/or their carers living in the City of Sydney and Botany local government areas.

Due to high demand bookings must be made at least one week in advance- call us on (02) 9319 4439.

Cost
We provide transport to medical appointments for a cost of $10 return for Home And Community Care (HACC) clients, $5 one way.

Clients on Community Aged Care Packages (CACP) are eligible to use this service if SSCT has spare capacity, however the full cost recovery charge applies ($30). HACC clients may access this service up to twice a week at a fee of $8 per return trip.

SSCT receives funding from the NSW Ministry of Transport, Department of Ageing Disability
and Home Care, City of Sydney Council, NSW Department of Health.
