Shopping

We have a fantastic range of shopping options available several times during the week, to suit all levels of access requirements.

These Home and Community Care shopping bus services are for people in receipt of a pension, and may have mobility issues. The bus stops door-to-door, as we provide assistance on and off the vehicles. On the return trip, when the bus may be laden with shopping as well as people, one of our Bus Assistants helps to carry bags back to people's doors.

We provide access to the following shopping centres:

• Marrickville Metro
• Eastlakes
• Eastgardens
• Broadway
• Leichhardt Market Town
• Ashfield
• Surry hills shopping village

Shuttle shopping services

These services are for people who are able to meet the bus at a designated bus stop and only require assistance to get their shopping trolleys on and off the bus.

All HACC Shopping trips are free but a gold coin donation is very welcome.

Weekend shopping

We have a Saturday Market outing once a fortnight. This service is funded by NSW Community Transport program to enable  residents  who live in Housing NSW high rise appartments to get out of the CBD.

Saturday twice a month at $7 for a return trip.
