Group Social outings

South Sydney Community Transport arranges a number of social excursions each month. Morning tea is provided by SSCT and you may either bring a packed lunch or on a wet day we will call into a club for lunch.

All the trips cost $7.00 for the day.

Pick up time is at 9:00am and we get back to Sydney by 3:30pm

The journey time is up to an hour and the destinations are to a range of locations in the Greater Sydney Region. In the past few months we have visited:

•             Ku-ring-gai National Park

•             Kiama

•             Woy Woy

•             Blue Mountains

We are keen to hear ideas for new destinations so if you have any suggestions don’t hesitate to contact us.

Our current group outings are listed in the monthly newsletter and you need to call us to confirm exact dates and venues as well as your booking!

Surry Hills excursions pick up Surry hills residents from home the Third Friday of every month.

Glebe Excursions pick up Glebe residents from home on the First Monday of every month.

Outings Excursions is a monthly social bus outing group for people living with HIV. They meet on a Tuesday at 8.55 am at Town Hall Steps or at another pre-arranged location.

We also have a number of outings for linguistic groups- Russians (Mechta and Optimist group), Chinese, Spanish and Arabic speaking residents. To find out more about any of these groups and their outings, please call us on (02) 9319 4439.
